Hi everyone, I'm Cate. First of all let me say I'm sorry I haven't been writing, I just got back from a trip to the United States... I went with my boyfriend to visit my best friend who is studying at the University of Maine. We visited New Jersey, New York, Orlando, Maine and Boston. I loved Boston. We went to visit many Universities and I realize that the buildings are much more bigger than the ones we have here in Argentina.

I'm a med student at the University of Buenos Aires. I'm halfway through the career, i'm still missing 4 more years. I love studying and I love reading though sometimes it can get really exhausting. This year I will start having classes at the hospital so I recently bought my first stethoscope, I'm really excited about that. My school year won't start until March 1st but I have to study for my Pharmacology final that's on february 22nd.

#3 Typical Week

My typical week is very busy, but usually I enjoy everything I do. I have class five days per week, three classes on Monday and Wednesday, two on Tuesday and Thursday, and one on Friday.
Tuesday is my busiest day. I have English class from 10-11:15 a.m. and then I go to the gym for an hour. After I go running at the gym, I eat lunch on campus with some of my friends. Around 1 p.m. I head to the University's newspaper office, where I make corrections to articles that have been submitted by writers. I have Spanish class from 4-5:15 and then I head back to the newspaper office. I'm the Co-Copy Desk Chief of The Villanovan, which basically means I'm in charge of proofreading every article in the paper. Normally, I'm at the newspaper office from 5:30 p.m.-12:30a.m. every Tuesday, looking at articles after they're printed out and laid out on the page. I love correcting articles, but I always look forward to going to sleep after a long day.

Typically on the weekends, I don't wake up until 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. I like to catch up on my rest after a long week. I'll try to do homework for a few hours, but that usually never works. My friends and I usually go to Minella's diner about 15 minutes from campus, on Saturday afternoons. I love all of the food there so I usually don't get the same thing twice. Hopefully there's something fun to do Saturday night, like go to a Villanova basketball game, go to a party, go to the movies, or just hang out with my friends. I really like hanging out in my apartment during the winter, which I share with three other roommates, because it's relaxing and I don't have to bundle up to go out in the cold!

#2 Three Wishes

It's hard to say what I would actually wish for if I had three wishes, so I think I'm going to wish for three totally random, kind of outrageous things.

1.  I that I didn't have to type or write out what I wanted to say - I wish I could just think it and it would be written on a page, or on the computer, or in my phone
2. I wish my intuition was always right
3. I wish that the whole process of flying was much shorter - apparating (Harry Potter style) would be the best

Introduction: Mark

Hi I'm Mark Lattanzio.  I'm a junior English major with concentrations in Writing and Rhetoric and Irish Studies.  I am a DJ at Villanova's radio station, WXVU, where I play all types of electronic music, and I am on the Media Relations committee of Villanova's new student-run homeless shelter.

I studied abroad in London two summers ago where I interned with Brentford Football Club.  I loved living in a city and being able to experience new things everyday.  While I was there I visited Scotland, Belgium, and the Netherlands.  This past fall I visited Costa Rica as part of a school service trip.  We helped the local community with a beach restoration project and their efforts to protect sea turtle nesting sites.

I have played and followed soccer from a young age and it has contributed to me having a more global view and a broader understanding of different cultures.  Soccer has helped my Spanish improve and I plan on learning Portuguese before I travel to Brazil for the World Cup in 2014.

Blog Post #1 Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm Meghan. I'm an English major from Pittsburgh, Pa. I'm also pursuing a Writing & Rhetoric Concentration, as well as a Spanish minor. At Villanova I'm a member of Pi Beta Phi and I'm a Co-Copy Desk Chief for University newspaper, The Villanovan. I love writing fiction, however I'll probably initially go into the field of journalism or publishing.

In the fall of 2010, I had the opportunity to study abroad at Queen Mary, University of London. I spent three and a half months exploring London and various parts of Europe. Living in London was an eye-opening experience which I took note of in a blog that I kept while living there.

I love to travel and although I'm able to go to Buenos Aires with the class, I have plans to travel in Europe and Asia in the next few years.
